An exciting opportunity has arisen within Lancashire Teaching Hospitals for ward based enthusiastic and dedicated Therapy Assistants.

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is a large Foundation Trust set over 2 hospital sites. The Trust is a regional specialist centre for a number of specialities providing acute and rehabilitative care for patients within Lancashire and South Cumbria.

We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic individuals to join our integrated nursing teams. We provide Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy through a wide range of specialities including Stroke, Acute Medicine, Respiratory, Cardiology Gastroenterology and Elderly care.

We offer support, flexible way of working, training and education as part of a dedicated ward team. Staff work closely together to ensure the delivery of high quality and effective care to our patients.

We are looking for dynamic, motivated individuals. You need to have excellent communication and caring skills. You must be able to work autonomously and be adaptable, flexible and willing to work within the changing health care environment.

Experience of working patients would be beneficial, and working well within a team is also essential.
