These roles offers the chance to be part of a growing team within a new organisation Lancashire Hospitals Services (Pharmacy) Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary and working with Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
This is an exciting new innovative outpatient dispensing services, focusing on providing efficient and effective pharmacy services to our patients in Preston, Rosemere Centre and Chorley and South Ribble District General Hospital.
Joining our Outpatient Dispensing team will enable you to develop your clinical knowledge in a fast paced environment, whilst providing a customer focused and critical service to patients. This role is perfect for an ambitious Pharmacist who has the ability to quickly build strong relationships with various healthcare professionals. You will develop an understanding of the evolving NHS and have the opportunity to learn new skills along the way.
You will be responsible and reliable for supporting the efficient delivery of the outpatient dispensing service, working as a key member of the pharmacy team to achieve excellence and provide exceptional customer care and patient safety.
Whether it’s just a few shifts you are looking for or you are looking to gain experience in a new environment - joining us as a bank pharmacist will give you the opportunity to develop your clinical knowledge in a hospital environment with flexibility and work life balance.
The successful candidate must be a registered Pharmacist with GPhC and possess an MPharm degree or equivalent.

Please note that Lancashire Hospitals Services (Pharmacy) Ltd is an independent organisation supporting Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Therefore the postholder will not be eligible for NHS benefits.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
The postholder will have regular contact with vulnerable people and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
