An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Senior Health Care Assistant to develop skills in advanced patient care on the Vascular Ward at Royal Preston Hospital.

We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, motivated individuals to work within the team on the Vascular Surgical Ward to provide excellent care with compassion.

Applicants will already possess strong communication skills and will need to demonstrate excellent infection control standards. You will be expected to carry out all levels of patient care relevant to the band 3 role.

We are looking for individuals who are keen to learn new skills, enjoy a challenge and have a commitment to the health and wellbeing of the people we care for. Recent experience of working at a Band 2/3 level in an acute setting is essential. Training within this speciality will be provided.

GCSE's in Maths and English Grade C or above (or equivalent) and an NVQ in Health level 2 is essential in order to apply for this position.
