At Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, you will work as part of a collaborative, friendly and caring team where you will be valued for who you are. We will support you to achieve your personal goals and to build the career you want.

This post provides an exciting opportunity to work at registrar level in a large teaching hospital in the heart of Lancashire. In this post you will be an integral part of the team, have time to develop your interests in audit, research and education and will work alongside innovative and nationally renowned clinicians who are specialists in their field.

This post will enable the post holder to gain experience in stroke medicine in a supportive and educationally-focused environment and although this is not a formal training post the post holder will be allocated an educational supervisor and provided access to the national e-portfolio.

This post would particularly suit doctors who have completed CMT and also individuals with equivalent experience. Posts will provide excellent experience and training for those looking to progress to specialty training and also for those looking to go down the non-consultant career grade or SAS route.

This post is for 12-24 months (other lengths of contract will be considered) and will provide very good basic training in stroke medicine.

This post is part of a recruitment drive to recruit nine new senior clinical fellow posts across all the main medical specialties.
