We are currently recruiting a Band 3 Senior Heath Care Assistant for the Renal Ward (Ward 25) at Royal Preston Hospital.

The Renal Directorate is dynamic and forward thinking and incorporates a 28 station renal unit and 23 bedded nephrology ward plus a 3 bedded acute dialysis bay, The Unit also serves as a hub for 6 satellite haemodialysis units based in Accrington, Burnley, Blackburn, Blackpool, Kendal and Chorley. We provide a range of dialysis therapies including hospital based haemodialysis, automated peritoneal dialysis, continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis and home haemodialysis.

You'll enhance the established ward team to assist the nursing staff to provide the best possible care for our renal patients.

You must have GCSE A-C or Level 2 Maths and English plus BNCS or NVQ Health Level 2. This position would suit motivated individuals with good communication skills who enjoy the challenge of a demanding but rewarding work environment.
