Specialist Band 6 Rotational Physiotherapist (Full time or Part time considered)

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is a large Foundation Trust set over 2 hospital sites. The Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services are integrated, and staff work closely together to ensure the delivery of high quality, effective acute care.

An exciting opportunity has a risen for a vacancy within the Band 6 rotational wheel within Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. Lancashire Teaching Hospitals offers a range of specialist services for patients within Lancashire and South Cumbria and we drive innovation through world class education, training and research.

The Band 6 Rotational Wheel includes rotations in:

  • Neurosurgery
  • Trauma
  • Orthopaedics
  • Respiratory with NIV
  • Burns and Plastics
  • Critical Care
  • Acute Urgent Care
  • Surgery including Head and Neck

The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the emergency respiratory on call service which includes a robust 2 day training and competency programme with annual updates.

The Integrated Therapy Department are moving towards a 7 day service. The successful candidate will be expected to support and participate in this.
