The Outpatient Service Manager will be responsible for operationally leading and developing services to meet Trust and national guidelines and standards. They will contribute to business plans and the strategic development of services including the development of operational plans the re-design of services, and effective onward communication to key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be required to support a significant service re-design in the Outpatient Service, supporting clinical colleagues to meet national and internal targets linked to outpatient capacity, and improved outpatient experience for clinical colleagues and our patients. There is significant focus and commitment needed to review and develop Trust wide Standard Operating Procedures linking in with colleagues across the Trust to ensure these are efficient, safe and patient centred.

The successful candidate will need to have experience of working across teams and divisions; experience of supporting or managing a Trust wide initiative/project and have an understanding of the requirements of the current CQUIN targets and be able to work on their own initiative and manage agreed targets and deadlines.
