Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest trusts in the North West. In joining an organisation that provides many specialist tertiary services, delivers award-winning teaching and development programmes, leads national and international clinical trials and research studies, and always gives excellent care with compassion - you will have an unparalleled opportunity to learn, grow and flourish in a supportive and innovative environment, and work with some of the UK’s leading healthcare experts.

High quality care and better outcomes is our shared purpose for children and young people with diabetes at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.

Due to a recent investment in our multi-disciplinary team we have an opportunity for a highly specialized nurse team leader who can help shape the future for diabetes care. We have well established pathways for inpatients and outpatients and work well with our colleagues to ensure the transitions are managed and young people are equipped with the skills required to manage their condition into adulthood.

If you are committed to achieving high standards of individualized care for children and their families at the same time as supporting and developing the team then this could be the perfect opportunity.

We offer a full induction programme and leadership/ people management training for the successful candidate.
