We have an exciting opportunity for a patient-focussed, quality driven, experienced Scrub and Anaesthetic Practitioners to our rapidly growing Ophthalmic Theatres. We have vacancies for Operating Department Practitioners and nurses to join our operating theatres at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals based initially at Royal Preston Hospital which will move to Chorley Hospital in the future.

We are a busy unit where: Cataract, Retinal, Corneal, Glaucoma, Strabismus and Ocular plastic surgeries are performed. We are currently in the process of expanding our ophthalmic service which will see ophthalmic theatres working in a brand new purpose built unit comprising of everything under one roof for our dedicated Ophthalmology service.

We are a large theatre directorate consisting of 4 theatres within Day Case, 3 theatres within Gynae theatres, 15 theatres based within the main theatre, and 8 theatres based at Chorley theatres. Our services are continuously evolving and this creates exciting opportunities for development.

We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Theatre Scrub and Anaesthetic Practitioners who are looking to begin their career or seek out a new challenge. You will be professional, flexible, motivated and committed to delivering high quality patient focused care within our busy theatre departments.
