Lancashire teaching hospitals are delighted to offer this exciting opportunity for a registered staff nurse to join our Ophthalmology team. We are looking to recruit nurses who have an interest in the care and experience of patients attending for ophthalmology surgery and outpatient visits.

Experience in an Ophthalmic Unit is desirable. You must be motivated, enthusiastic, committed to delivering high standards of patient care with excellent communication skills.

You will work across the ophthalmic unit, covering two outpatient clinics and a day ward. The hours of work will be flexible between 07.00 – 19.30, Monday – Friday and 0830-1630 on Saturday. The post will initially be based at Preston but there will be an expectation to work at Chorley hospital in the near future.
