Come and join our amazing Oncology team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced nurse to expand their knowledge and competencies within both Preston and Chorley Chemotherapy Unit.

Our opening hours at Preston are 8 am till 7 pm Monday to Friday. Chorley Chemotherapy Unit is open from 8am to 5pm.

Due to expanding Chemotherapy Services there will be many opportunities for career development.

We are committed to encouraging staff to progress their knowledge within Oncology by offering study time and University Modules.

You will be a highly motivated progressive nurse with strong skills. You will be key to ensuring that patients receive good quality care and ensure that their cancer journey is positively influenced.

You will support the development of clinical competence within the workplace across the range of healthcare professionals in line with agreed directorate and Trust educational development strategies and

A requirement for the successful applicant of this post would be that they are to complete the United Kingdom Oncology Nurses competency passport within 6 months of being in role.

Additionally you must be willing to work towards a university degree level module in systemic anti-cancer therapy within 1-2 years.
