An exciting opportunity has arisen at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals based at the Preston site for a part time skilled, clinically competent, innovative and forward thinking practitioner, to join the team within the patient flow business unit in the delivery & development of the Multi Activity Support Team (MAST) (Previously known as the nursing pool) This exciting role will provide direct line management for and the development of the MAST service, which currently sits within the management of the discharge lounge.
You will be a positive role model, demonstrating a Professional attitude to the delivery of Safe Quality Care within the Directorate of Diagnostics & Clinical Support. The ability to engage well with others is essential monitoring of performance is an integral part of the role.
The applicant must have the ability to manage their own workload, work independently of others, as well as part of a team. You will liaise with senior members of the operational team regularly, including Governance. This role will also include supporting staff to keep up to date with the essential mandatory training elements.
If you have the ability to put the patient at the heart of everything you do, are enthusiastic, have a positive outlook, keen to learn new skills, able to work well within a team, a good communicator and possess excellent organisation skills we would love to hear from you.
This role is part time 22.5 hours per week (3 days) working over a 7 day period, predominantly during the week.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
