The Neurosurgical unit is based at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Preston and is part of the regional Neurosciences Directorate. The unit is made up of 3 neurosurgery wards which admit emergency and elective patients with complex neurosurgical conditions from Lancashire and South Cumbria.
This is an exciting opportunity for nurses wishing to develop their current neurosurgical skills or wishing to develop new skills and knowledge in a busy and rewarding environment.
We are seeking to employ hardworking nurses with an interest in neurosurgery to join our friendly, supportive and highly motivated team of nurses on Ward 2c. The post holders must be enthusiastic and possess strong interpersonal skills. Rotational posts within Surgical Division will be considered.

We believe that our staff are our greatest asset and that it is important to develop staff in their roles and therefore a range of post registration programmes and leadership courses are provided.
We currently have a full time position available and two fixed term posts to cover maternity cover.
