A unique opportunity has arisen at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for an experienced, dynamic person to join our department as part of the senior team
The department has a busy, friendly team of staff who provide a Neurophysiology service across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
We are looking for an experienced Highly Specialist Clinical Physiologist who is enthusiastic, organised and well-motivated with proven technical and communication skills and a zest for providing excellence. Applicants should have knowledge and expertise of Intra-operative neuro monitoring
The post holder is expected to have excellent leadership qualities, preferably with management/supervision experience.
The successful candidate will support the development of our Intra-operative neuro monitoring service, be able to perform the full range of Neurophysiological investigations and will have experience in performing and reporting peripheral nerve studies as we continue to extend the physiologist role.
The post holder will deputise for the Clinical Service Manager and will work closely with the Consultant Neurophysiologists, Consultant Neurosurgeons and the Highly Specialist Clinical Physiologists to provide a high quality service
The job is based at the Preston hospitals but a need to work at other hospitals is a possibility.
