Are you a motivated registered Diagnostic Radiographer with an interest in Angiography and Interventional radiology?  If so look no further.

Do you want to be part of our band 5/6 link grade programme? Are you looking to expand your clinical skills and expertise in a dynamic environment?

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated radiographer with excellent technical and communication skills who wishes to develop their skills within Interventional radiology that would work as a link grade radiographer and be upgraded to band 6 on completion of the link grade programme.

We are one of 2 vascular centres within the region and have dedicated Interventional facilities including a Day case Recovery unit within x-ray., We have a Siemens Artis Zeego Interventional/ vascular hybrid theatre within a new vascular theatre suite as well as a GE Innova, which is planned for replacement in the next financial year; and a second multipurpose room, with a Philips Multidiagnost. The Interventional work undertaken is varied and highly complex with referrals from a wide range of specialities including Vascular, Renal & Oncology.

You will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality patient care is delivered and ensure high quality imaging techniques and excellent working practices are performed.

We have advanced practice within this area for both radiographers and nurses and encourage staff development in a wide range of role development/extension opportunities.

You must be an excellent team player and have the ability to accept responsibility and make decisions. You should be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and be able to take part in the Interventional on call rota once a band 6. There may be a requirement to work extended days in the future and flexible working requests will be considered.
