Are you are a band 5 radiographer with a keen interest in Interventional Radiology ? Do you want to be part of our band 5/6 link grade programme ? Are you looking to develop your skills further in a dynamic environment?
If so look no further.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated radiographer with excellent technical and communication skills who wishes to develop their skills within Interventional radiology who would work as a link grade radiographer and be upgraded to band 6 on completion of the link grade programme
We are one of 2 vascular centres within the region and have a dedicated Interventional suite, with GE Innova; a second multi purpose room, with Philips Multidiagnost and a Day case Recovery unit within x-ray. We also have a Siemens Artis Zeego Interventional/ vascular hybrid theatre within a new vascular theatre suite. The work undertaken is varied and highly complex with referrals from a wide range of specialities including Oncology.
You will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality patient care is delivered and ensure high quality imaging techniques and excellent working practices are performed.
We have Advanced practice within this area for both radiographers and nurses and encourage staff development in a wide range of role development/extension opportunities.
You must be an excellent team player and have the ability to accept responsibility and make decisions. You should be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and be able to take part in the Interventional on call rota once a band 6. There may be a requirement to work extended days in the future.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
