A Part time band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse post has become vacant on the Urology Ward.

We are seeking an enthusiastic nurse who can demonstrate effective leadership and organisational skills, and has a proven track record of being a positive role model.

You will support the ward manager to deliver the service and maintain patient care to the highest standards, developing and nurturing the staff ensuring nursing care is caring and compassionate.

You will be supporting the Ward Manager to lead a 29 bedded surgical ward for elective and emergency urology patients. The majority of our patients have urological cancers undergoing major surgery. The Ward also treats urology patients from the local area with a range of urology conditions ranging from kidney stones to benign prostatic hyperplasia.

This is a fantastic development opportunity for an experienced band 5 staff nurse. You will gain knowledge and experience of the skills needed to run a busy hospital ward and the wider implications of clinical governance.
