Senior Health Care Assistant
Endoscopy Department - Royal Preston Hospital
Are you looking for a new challenge? Have you ever thought about working at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals?
Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is one of the largest foundation trusts in the North West, we have two hospitals working closely with each other and provide excellent care with compassion to the communities we serve. We provide a range of tertiary services including Major Trauma Centre, Maxillo-Facial, Neurosciences, Oncology & Radiotherapy, Plastics, Renal, Respiratory, Specialist Mobility & Rehabilitation and Vascular.
There are two JAG accredited Endoscopy units within the Trust and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and resilient Senior Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated and friendly Endoscopy team. The successful applicant will be a hardworking, motivated team player, have excellent communication skills, be forward thinking and well organised, with a positive attitude towards flexibility and change.
If you are a health care assistant preferably with experience in Endoscopy procedures and an interest in decontamination, however, this is not essential as extensive training will be given to an excellent standard. You will be working in the Endoscopy unit based at Royal Preston Hospital, but will be expected to cross-site cover, working closely with colleagues on both sites, offering a challenging role. Professional development is high on our priority list and we look forward to supporting your development
