A full time permanent vacancy has arisen for a Senior Health Care Assistant on Ward 3 at the Royal Preston Hospital.

Ward 3 is primarily a Head and Neck Surgical ward but we also provide care for Surgical and Medical patients from other specialties. We are a 19 bedded ward and we also have the 'Day of Surgery Admissions Unit' within the Ward.


GCSE's in Maths and English Grade C or above (or Functional Skills / Key Skills Level 2) and an NVQ in Health level 2 / BNCS or have completed the internal Level 2 HCA Programme is essential in order to apply for this position.

You must be committed to working in a hospital ward environment and be fully flexible to work Early, Late, Occasional Nights and Weekends. The Ward operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
