We are seeking to appoint a high calibre and credible operational leader who will provide strong leadership within the Division of Surgery and across the Organisation. We are seeking a dynamic, innovative and motivated individual, passionate about clinical service transformation, excellence in patient care and who shares our values.
This is a unique opportunity to support the Divisional Director, Divisional Medical Director and Divisional Nursing Director in supporting, shaping and developing an experienced Oncology/Head & Neck team whilst simultaneously driving forward the Trusts strategy in respect of clinical and service transformation. The post will be working alongside three other clinical business managers in the Surgery Division.
The post holder will be educated to Masters Degree level or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years management experience at a senior level. Candidates should have a proven ability to manage change and service development within a large organisation and possess budgetary control and project management skills and experience. The post holder will also be capable of working under pressure, prioritising to deadlines and multi-tasking. Good motivation, persuasion and planning skills are also essential.
Your skills will have been developed in an NHS environment and you will bring energy and a resilient leadership style to the management team. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to guide, direct and support your team and colleagues as circumstances dictate.
The post requires a high standard of communication, analysis, clear thinking and organisational skills and offers excellent opportunities for career development.
