A Vacancy has arisen within this busy Catering Department at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals for an enthusiastic individual, who is willing to work hard within a strong team, to provide a KEY service within the hospital for both staff and patients.

The successful candidate will assist with all associated duties connected with the delivery of staff and patient meal services. They will deal with food service in areas including wards, dining rooms and satellite venues.  The post-holders will be required to adhere to departmental standards and food hygiene regulations. They will also act at all times in a manner that upholds the Trust’s values, working as part of a team to ensure efficiency and excellent customer care.

This is a challenging but rewarding job and would be ideally suited to motivated team player’s. Catering experience is desirable along with a level 2 certificate in food safety though this is not essential, as full training will be given.

There is 1 Permanent role and 2.03 Fixed term Temprary roles

1 x 37.5 hours  5 Days over 7 Days - Hours of duty between 6.30am - 6.30pm.

Post 1 - 30hr Monday - Friday 7.30am -2.00pm.

Post 2 - 30hr on a 4 week Rota Pattern (includes weekends) 7.30am - 2.00pm.

Post 3 - 16hr on a rota pattern(includes weekends) 11.30am - 2.45pm.
