An exciting opportunity has arisen in the cardiology directorate for enthusiastic nurses to join our supportive multi-disciplinary team comprising of Cardiologists, Nurses, Cardiac Physiologists and Radiographers.
The cardiology department comprises of the Cardiac Catheter Suite, Coronary Care unit and ward 18. We provide diagnostic cardiac procedures, implantation of cardiac devices and medical care for patients with acute cardiac problems. The directorate treats a mixture of outpatients and inpatients over three distinct areas. You will benefit from working within our ward environment, which will be underpinned by a clinical training programme.
You will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and experience within cardiology is not essential as ongoing training will be provided. Flexible to meet the needs of the service you'll be able to demonstrate motivation and enthusiasm to develop your nursing skills .
We are committed to building on your existing skills and knowledge and welcome the opportunity to develop you. Full support will be given to your personal and professional development through regular appraisals; in house training sessions and study time.
In addition to the many other benefits of working at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you may also be entitled to apply for our relocation package. As a Trust we recognise the importance of securing the right candidate for a role; and we therefore offer an attractive relocation package of £1,500 for any nurse relocating more than one hour away from their current address.
For any further information regarding our relocation package, please contact a member of the Recruitment Team.
