We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player to join our Oncology Booking Services team in this challenging role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective provision of a comprehensive Outpatient Appointment service, supervising a team of booking clerks who provide a booking service for both New and Follow Up appointments across the Department, also ensuring that the programmes of work are co-ordinated effectively and targets are delivered.

The post holder will have excellent communication, leadership, operational and inter-personal skills. They must have in-depth knowledge and experience of the Trust's outpatient appointment booking processes and the systems that support this function, specifically, E-Referral Service, National Spine, Quadramed and BI Portal.

The post holder will ensure ongoing compliance with the terms set out in The Elective Patient Access Policy adhering to Patient Choice in line with speciality waiting times and the Trust and National Access targets. They will ensure adherence to corporate data quality and information governance.
