This location provides many attractive places to live with easy access to the beauty of the Lake District and commuter links to Manchester.
The post attracts ten programmed activities which will allow for providing a leadership role in Acute Medicine service both at Medical Assessment Unit, Emergency Medical Decisions Unit (a dedicated combined assessment unit unit) and short stay unit, along with teaching opportunities for the junior medical staff who rotate through the acute medicine arena.
