Hazelwood is a busy and fast paced gastroenterology ward, based at our Chorley and South Ribble site, with a bed capacity of 19 for both male and female patients. Our nursing and medical team are passionate about providing a high standard of care and effective discharge planning for our patients and have been recognised by the Trust for two years running as a Beacon Ward in maintaining patient safety and delivering high standards of care.

Caring and compassionate, you’ll be a good communicator and have the ability to prioritise in addition to working closely with other team members. In return for your hard work and dedication we are committed to building on your existing skills and knowledge and welcome the opportunity to learn from you. You’ll receive a comprehensive induction and annual appraisal to develop your skills and knowledge where appropriate. Newly qualified nurses will also be entered onto our preceptorship programme.
