We are looking for an enthusiastic and forward thinking Physiotherapist to Lead our Medical Service at Chorley Hospital. The post holder’s role would be to lead inpatient team at Chorley District General Hospital.
You will work within an established multidisciplinary team as the Lead Physiotherapist in the Medical Team for Core Therapies at Chorley.
Team working and excellent communication skills are vital to support patients during their acute in patient stay and onward journey out into community. The ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and good communication skills with both patients and community teams are essential. Experience of service development for improvement would be beneficial.
Active involvement in training and development is a key requirement in both meeting personal continuing professional development objectives and in providing expertise for delivery of staff training programmes within the Core Therapy Service and the Trust.
In recognition of the need for enhanced provision, the Core Therapy Service is looking to move towards 7 day working, and as such the successful candidate will be expected to support this model of care when it is implemented.
This role will includes key leadership for the Respiratory Service at Chorley Hospital and Management of the On Call Respiratory Physiotherapy Service Cross sites
The successful candidate would be expected to support On Call Respiratory service with evening and weekend shifts.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
