We require a first level nurse who is already experienced in all aspects of the management of patients with a breast symptom. The post holder should be ideally providing independent nurse led follow up clinics, however, training would be provided.  The expectation will be that they experienced in providing results clinics, working independently in the community and working alongside all members of the MDT to provide holistic care to all patients under the responsibility of the central Lancashire breast unit.

The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating and developing the Breast care team, providing direct line management and support to the nursing and clerical team. Applicants will therefore have a proven track record of service improvement, managing change and innovation. If you meet the criteria above, and have an interest in developing your skills further in this exciting speciality, we can provide a stimulating and supportive environment in which you can develop and actively participate in the delivery of a high standard of patient care.
