SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY 3 MONTHS
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, innovative and motivated nurse leader with proven clinical skills and experience in stroke rehabilitation, to join our friendly and progressive nursing team.
Rookwood B comprises 24 Inpatient beds, caring for patients who require stroke rehabilitation and general medical care
We actively promote a multi professional model and approach to deliver a patient focused plan of care, Doctors, Nurses, Social Services and Therapists work closely together to ensure that the patient is kept at the centre of the decision making and all care is delivered with respect and dignity.
The post holder will be required to be an excellent communicator both with the MDT, Senior Management, families and external stakeholders. The successful candidate should be enthusiastic with strong leadership and people management skills. They must be able to demonstrate evidence based practice and knowledge of the current healthcare agenda.
The Post holder will be self-motivated ensuring that they maintain their personal development; this will be actively encouraged and supported.
The successful candidate will act as a Role Model to all staff enforcing the corporate message regarding maintaining high quality care via the Trust Care with Compassion values. They will support the patient in experiencing a positive journey, measuring, monitoring and evaluating the standards of care delivered by participating in Clinical supervision, teaching and completing clinical audits.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
