Hazelwood Ward Chorley District Hospital is a 19 bedded respiratory unit and we are looking for both experienced and newly qualified nurses who are keen to gain further insight to Respiratory and Acute Care.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with the passion to deliver excellent care and drive for self-development. The position would be ideal for those with a passion to develop their knowledge and skills around Respiratory conditions, as well as those who already have a good knowledge and skill base in acute care.

Main duties of the job

  • • Diploma in Nursing
  • • NMC recognised mentorship qualification or willingness to work towards 18 months commencement in post
  • • Evidence of continuing education or development

  • • Knowledge of clinical governance and the relevance to practice
  • • Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures
  • • Demonstrates competency during internship
