An exciting position has arisen for Band 5 Staff Nurses to join our Respiratory Ward at Chorley & South Ribble Hospital.
This Trust was the first trust in the country to be awarded ‘teaching hospitals’ status and we provide award winning educational programs for nursing staff. We are committed to staff development and provide encouragement and support to staff to continue their lifelong learning.
Brindle Ward is a 26 bedded ward, built upon 16 respiratory beds and also 10 endocrinology beds. We are also lucky to have a 4 bedded respiratory support unit, nursing level 2 patients receiving non-invasive ventilation treatment. We are an excellent led team with supportive staff and we have a strong rapport with our multidisciplinary team members.
We are a dynamic and stimulating area to work; we offer a wide range of learning experiences specialised to respiratory, endocrinology and also tissue viability. You will be amongst a friendly, helpful and welcoming team who all thrive to provide the best care possible to both our patients and their families.
In addition to the many other benefits of working at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you may also be entitled to apply for our relocation package. As a Trust we recognise the importance of securing the right candidate for a role; and we therefore offer an attractive relocation package of £1,500 for any nurse relocating more than one hour away from their current address.
For any further information regarding our relocation package, please contact a member of the Recruitment Team.
