A multi-professional programme of quality assurance is being developed across the Trust, to evidence compliance to patient safety and educational standards and reporting to Trust Board.  An Educational Performance and QA function has been formed, where an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated administrator with proven success in planning, co-ordinating and achieving operational aims and objectives. 

The post is within the Workforce and Education Directorate, with regular travel between sites and to regional meetings and events.   

The post-holder will provide administrative support to effectively organise external monitoring visits, QA meetings with senior management, directorate leads and learners as well as co-ordinating focus groups producing evaluation and audit summaries in compliance with an annual programme of internal reviews. Full records will need to be maintained of all QA activities.

Primarily, duties will include supporting the Educational Compliance Auditor in the development and maintenance of a comprehensive process to ensure validated financial claims to ESFA per learner as well as a central evidence base against national standards including Ofsted, Skills Funding Agency, Quality Mark and Matrix.  Other responsibilities will include liaising with learner programme leads to maintain full and accurate records of apprenticeship delivery including attendance, progress, training records and follow on training requirements for each new cohort of apprenticeships. Highlighting queries and outstanding training for QA monitoring and reporting processes.

The successful applicant will need to be an experienced organiser, be able to demonstrate accuracy and close attention to detail and an ability to take formal minutes and maintain records effectively.

Reporting to the Educational Compliance Auditor, the post-holder will provide support to enable effective monitoring of the QA programme.  He/she will also contribute to the live operational status report for review at weekly management updates.

The successful candidate must have highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills, working with accuracy and speed and paying close attention to detail.  He/she will be familiar with working in a fast-paced, changing environment, be self motivated and have the ability to communicate effectively across all levels. 

The role therefore requires a candidate with a proven administrative background, experience of diary co-ordination, teamwork and who will be looking to develop existing skills further.
